On November 20, Xu Xipeng, Secretary of the CPC Committee of Huaqiao University, met with a delegation of experts from Hong Kong's cross-Strait think tanks at Xiamen campus, with Vice President Wang Lixia also in attendance.

Xu welcomed the delegation and offered an overview of Huaqiao University's think tank initiatives and Taiwan studies. He expressed a commitment to enhancing dialogue and promoting the peaceful integration of cross-Strait relations.

Guo Weifeng, delegation leader and Chairman of the China Review Think Tank Foundation, shared the purpose, members, and strengths of the think tank association. He also expressed a desire for improved communication and collaboration with HQU.

During their stay at HQU, the delegation engaged in discussions with the university’s Taiwan Studies researchers and toured a special exhibition on cross-Strait integration, as well as the HQU History Museum.

The head of the HQU’s Think Tank Office, along with experts and academics from relevant colleges andresearch institutions, participated in the research activities.
